Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Ecosystem Study in Kenya

Triple Line conducted an ecosystem mapping assignment for the Mastercard Foundation in Kenya, generating strategic and practical evidence to inform the design of a holistic and inclusive TVET programme for 2025-2030. The assignment comprised a programme review, a TVET ecosystem analysis, and an organisational scoping exercise.

Reviewing Programme Performance & Learning

Assessing five years of programme implementation through document reviews, data analysis, key informant interviews, and focus group discussions to identify achievements, gaps, lessons, and system-level changes, with a focus on improving young women's access to skills and employment.

Mapping the TVET Ecosystem

Conducting stakeholder consultations, workshops, and ecosystem analysis to map institutional actors, understand stakeholder relationships, and identify strategic opportunities to strengthen the TVET policy environment.

Scoping Strategic Partners

Identifying and assessing potential implementing partners and allies based on implementation capacity and system influence, and synthesising strategic recommendations to inform the Foundation's TVET programme design.
